Entry for October 09, 2006
Well I really didn't want to go to the Y today, but I did so well last week going every day except Monday and I didn't want to throw that momentum away.
After we got home my friend came over with her two little kids. She and her hubbie are going to be staying with the kids while I go meet Rich in Orlando. It's only two weeks away and I need to ge organized as to what things I need to do before I leave. We played for a while until the kids got too tired and she left to put them down for naps.
Now Angela is sleeping and Alyssa's playing on the computer. I feel like taking a nap since I didn't sleep well last night, but know I'll wake up more tired if I lay down. Yesterday was a busy day. We had 12 kids in Nursery. We have two more moving into the ward and two that weren't there so we'll have 16 kids on the roll. They would split it, but they can't find enough people to staff another nursery. They are going to try and get another person called to be a nursery assistant though because there are just too many kids for only two adults. Yesterday we did have a few dad's stick around with kids to help them adjust to the nursery so that was helpful. Then I stayed for choir practice. Next week is our ward conference so we needed to get the song practiced for it and we'll meet a little before church next week that means getting to church at 8:30 instead of 9am... yikes.
The kids though were just very needy yesterday afternoon and it was a constant hold one child, switch to another child, make dinner, hold another child, get everyone ready for bed, struggle with keeping children apart so they can fall asleep... Rich finally wound up laying down upstairs with Alyssa and I laid down on our bed with Angela to finally get the two of them asleep at 10pm. :(
Well I'm off to figure out something for FHE tonight...
