Entry for August 07, 2006
So I didn't make it to the Y at all in July to exercise. We got home from our trip and Angela was working on all four of her molars so I just didn't think she could handle me leaving her there when she couldn't handle me just leaving the room she was in at home. So today I got up and was determined that we would make it to the Y. We went and I exercised and now I'm back home and Angela hasn't left my lap all afternoon... but at least I got the exercise in...
We had a ward campout/pool party friday night that we went to and had fun. Rich spent the night with Alex and Ashley and I came home and put the little girls in their own beds to sleep. There was an auction of donated items that the young men did to earn some money for them to go to something- EFY or something... we have five dentists in the ward, and two of them donated a free whitening system. So Rich saw that and bid on one for me. I'll now get to get my teeth whitened with the gel and blue light (supposed to be gentler than laser or bleach) which would cost $500 for only $100... I'm excited about that. I probably never would have spent the money on it alone, but since the money will help some of the boys go on the trip that wouldn't have- I feel like it was a good deal. They did pretty good and earned $1000 from all the donated baskets.
We are still in the midst of a heat wave here... someday we'll stay below 100 degree's for more than just a few hours of the day.
