Entry for November 01, 2005

Halloween!!! Fun fun fun! Despite mommy being sick we still had a fun time.
There was one house that the kids started to walk up to and then stopped. Ashley and Alyssa just stood there and looked back at Rich to see what to do, Alex came and hid behind me. Rich walked up and gently guided Ashley and Alyssa over to the man that was handing out candy on the porch and I turned and told Alex that he couldn't let his little sister (Alyssa) be braver than he was... lol! He ran up and grabbed a candy and ran back down. Alex and Ashley both would have been done with trick or treating after going one block, but Alyssa was still running up to the door at every house and yelling "tic o weet". Then she would very deliberatly say "tank you" and then wave and say "bye bye". Then she would run down the driveway to Rich and I and 70% of the time trip and fall over her feet and yell "andy andy, my andy, I ot andy!!!" She had a BLAST!!!
We put the bowl of candy out on the front porch while we took the kids out trick or treating. When we came back it was empty. Rich looked at me and asked me if I had anymore candy and I told him that yes I still had another multipack bag, and a bag of snickers.... he reached over and turned the porch light off and said that those were his halloween candy and we had given enough out ;) lol!! It was 8:00 the time we normally turn the light off anyway,
