Entry for June 02, 2006
Well.... it's been a little while since I wrote in here... lets see what's happened...
Ashley lost her first tooth last Sunday night...
Angela has eight teeth and seems to be taking a break from teething to work on walking. She can walk about halfway across the room a few times a day, but does prefer crawling still.
School's out... Alex and Ashley both did well. Alex is on a 2.7 grade reading level and did great at school this year. His teacher say's that he just needs to work on knowing when it's time to not talk and when it's free time to talk- I guess he takes after me in that regard...
Alyssa is showing the beginings of potty training, but I'll wait till after our vacation to try and get her potty trained.
Alex got his first stitches this past Saturday. He was riding the bike down the driveway and missed the doorway to the garage and crashed into the side of the house. Five stitches and he was all better. He got the stitches taken out yesterday.
Angela had her first trip to the pool. She loved being in the water and enjoyed her floatie... a must when I still have to hold Alyssa as well.
Alyssa finally has enough hair I can get it all up into a ponytail- and it looks good, not just like a baby "poof" ponytail, but a real one.
Our stake just had a major realignment of all the ward boundaries and some stake boundaries. our ward was split into three sections... Two join into other wards, and the one we are in stay as our ward, but gain about 50 other people, and we got moved to a different Stake. We'll go from about a 150 attendance ward each sunday to about 75 people now... the first week the new changes go into effect will be June 11th. Rich just happens to be out of town that Sunday so I'll be flying solo with the kids to handle the changes. Hopefully it will all work out fine, I've got our regular babysitter and her family already planning to sit with us during Sacrament Meeting.
We are getting excited for the family reunion. I need to sit down and get my lists going on what all I need to pack and mom's grocery list for the food.
Well the kids are in the water in the back yard again... wouldn't be a problem except it's to make a huge mud puddle and we are trying to get grass to grow there... and then I have red mud stained clothes from the kids plastering themselves with it... gotta run...
