Thanksgiving cooking- Day 2 Thanksgiving.

This morning I got up and started on the sweet potato's first. I peeled the outsides, then cut them into chunks and roasted them in the oven for about an hour and a half.

While those were roasting, I whipped up some nobake pumpkin cheesecake. My friend gave us one a few months ago and it was soo good! I had to make one for us.

Then the potato's were done roasting and I dumped them into the mixer with butter, egg, cream, and spices and whipped it together. Then poured them into one big pan and two small ones (to freeze for use another day) and put a oatmeal brown sugar butter topping on them and popped them all into the oven.

Then I got the turkey out, and finished thawing it inside, and got it ready to put into the oven.

After that I relaxed for a while, then made the stuffing and gravy when the turkey was done, and topped the sweet potato's with marshmallows, and set the table.

We had a wonderful yummy feast!
