Entry for February 27, 2006
Wow... what a difference a week makes! Last Monday we were iced in and couldn't get out of our driveway. Today it is going to almost hit 80 degrees here. This has been a unique winter with the back and forth warm and cold weather.
Angela is still acting cranky and crabby. She has three teeth that have gone through the gums and are making their way completely out. She is still battling the runny nose that we've had for ages now. She is getting really good at reaching over and tearing hair out of my head. I'm tempted to cut the hair really really short, but know I would regret it. She also is biting me on the shoulder and turning my face towards her when I try to give my attention to someone else.
We reached a new milestone as parents this week. Alex and Ashley have asked us to read the scriptures to them from the actual scriptures and not the illustrated childrens versions. We don't get as much read at a time, but they want us to read from them and as Rich said- How can we say no to that? Alex is also proficient enough that he can take a turn reading them as well.
Rich had a business trip sprung on him last Friday. He left today to go to Austin and he'll get back just after the kids bedtime on Wed. Then the next week he goes back to Austin on Monday and he will get back on Thursday. He has five days that he is supposed to take off work before April 9th so hopefully he will be able to use them and we'll get a welcome little vacation having him at home for a few days.
