It's been a while...

I haven't posted on here in a little while.

I got really discouraged after I tried to start running and was in so much pain. I've backed off now and I'm working actively to strengthen some muscle groups that will give me a better posture and running stride and hopefully allow me to run without the pain that I was having.

I've also been taking some time to work through some inner thoughts and concerns I've been dealing with lately. There is peace found in taking the steps we need to take to accomplish a goal and I'm finding some more of that peace lately.

We went down to celebrate Rich's nephew getting baptized this past weekend. We had a fun time visiting with family and friends. I'll bum some pictures off of my father in law when he get's back home and then I'll post a few. We also went to the county fair and the rodeo. It was pretty fun. :)

I had to drop Rich off in Dallas so he could fly out on a buisness trip, on our drive home and drive the last 3 hours by myself with the kids. They did really well and we didn't even have any arguments that lasted more than a few seconds. We even hit some construction traffic so that made our drive an hour longer- but the kids all cooperated really well. I was very pleased with them.

Hopefully they will continue to cooperate for the next week with Rich gone. We'll have the cub scout pack meeting to negotiate on Wed night with me and all of the kids, and then a Relief Society dinner on Thursday night. Saturday night Rich will be back... we'll have to go pick him up at the airport right at bedtime for the kids since he flew out of Dallas and won't have his car parked in Oklahoma to drive home.

Hi Julie! Right this very minute you might be near the airport picking up Rich. It's 11 at night - maybe you're already home. I'm glad things are going well for you.
