I’m yet again reminded why it looks like I never clean the house…
I tried to fold laundry and found Alyssa and Angela filling up the bathtub with water and towels again.
I tried to clean our bathroom and came out to find Alex eating frozen rolls from the fridge that I had set in there to start thawing.
I tried to clean in the kitchen and went to find the kids and found Angela and Alyssa pulling apart our bed.
I told Alex and Ashley that I thought they could handle cleaning their rooms today and helping to clean one bathroom, and then tomorrow we would have all day to play and they can help me cook etc… they’ll have more time to work on Alex’s boat with Dad and we will have the house cleaned and we can get some Christmas decorations out this weekend… I’m trying to help by keeping the little girls out of their rooms, but I’m spending most of my time going back and forth telling them to work on cleaning, not making their rooms messier by playing with every single thing. So far we have the sheets off of the beds and washing, and the dirty clothes picked up and in hampers and that’s about it…
So I’ve started cleaning and doing stuff in at least five rooms… and all of those rooms now look messier because I can’t finish anything before someone else makes a mess that I try to go clean up…
I did get the cranberry sauce made though… I just need to let it finish cooling and put it in the fridge.
