So what does it say about me, that I've been trying to not make a bunch of sweets all the time- and I've been struggling with feeling down a bit.
Last night I made an apple crisp. I had so much fun making it and I felt great!
So... I guess I just need to bake more to keep my mental health charged up... I just need to not eat it after I bake it. lol!

Oh yummy!! Well, if you want to bake, I will volunteer to eat! I really don't need to be right now but it just sounds so yummy!!

I have theory that if things that make you happy raise the levels of nor-epinephrine (a "happy" brain chemical) in your brain, then it must also raise the body metabolism. And besides that, apple crisp has apples in it, so it's healthy.
