I'm having another one of those moments where I don't know what to write, but need to just get on here and type something because I always feel better after I do.

Yesterday we went to the cub scout Regatta. It was fun watching all the boys blowing their boats in the raingutter and great to hear them all cheering each other on. Alex won his first race and then lost the next two races.

I've been working on our family christmas letter yesterday and today. I think I've got the letter ready and now I need to get all the addresses compiled and on the envelopes. Then I think we'll take a picture of the kids with Santa on Saturday and we'll put that in with the cards and get them sent off early next week.

I'm also trying to plan what things I'm purchasing for Christmas and get those sent off to the right people. As much as I feel overwhelmed at times with what I have to get, I'm grateful that Rich and my extended families just switch names and give family gifts to one other family unit in our extended family. It would just be too difficult and stressfull and expensive to try and buy presents for every single member of our extended family.

Rich is going out of town on Sunday for a week so I'm also trying to get myself prepared for him to be gone. I'll have a few nights that week that if I can find a babysitter I can get out and go to a little party and Relief Society so those should be welcome breaks for me. Saturday I'm going to take the day and let him stay home and play with the kids while I go and do something for myself. I'm not sure what I'll do yet, but just something relaxing and fun for me.
