It’s Christmas! Hurrah!
It’s Christmas! OH NO!!
Isn’t that what all mom’s think in their heads? I LOVE Christmas. I love the music and lights, decorations, and festive environment. At the same time I hate how I try to schedule so many things and have to pick and choose what things to do and what things to not do.
I was at the Y this morning and Rachel Ray was on the tv. SHe had someone on that is an anchor on one of the evening entertainment tonight or something talk shows. She was talking about Christmas and how she got it all done, and the lady mentioned that she has learned to just stay calm. No matter what happens- to just stay calm and enjoy the month and what gets done gets done, and what doesn't get done, doesn't get done and not to worry about it.
I think that's a great way to approach this month. I can make my list of all the things I want to do, but then I need to just relax and not stress over whether I get it all done or not.
So now I'll try to work on our family letter- but I won't stress if it takes me three weeks to get it finished, printed, and envelopes written out and mailed. lol!

What great advice!! I'm still in denial that we're 3 weeks away from Christmas! Somehow it will all get done!:)
