We're back...
It'll probably take me a week to get back into the swing of things and get pictures up here and my thoughts and comments on the trip typed out. But we are back and we had a wonderful time. The kids did great and really only had meltdowns at the end of really long fun but exhausting days so we couldn't really complain about that too much. :)
I just love to travel so much. I guess you could call it my hobby, even though we don't get to do it very much. After all that traveling I guess it's appropriate that I had a dream last night that we ran into the family that I used to work for that owned a travel company. Wierd.... lol!

A new look... or rather an old look revisited?
I got my hair cut on Saturday...
It's very similar to the hairstyle I had back when Rich and I started dating. It really is my favorite hair style, and once I get used to styling it again I'll really enjoy how fast and easy it is to do.
Self taken pictures are never the most flattering, so just know that the haircut looks even better in person. :)

Where oh where can it be???
Ashley was sick this morning, so she is staying home from school. Which means I am stuck at home and instead of working out at the Y, and running a few errands, taking Alyssa to school and Angela to a friends house and going and getting my hair cut- I'm home for the morning, we'll take Alyssa to school and come back home, and then pick up her and Alex this afternoon.
So I'm starting to look for the small things that we want to take on the trip and collect them, and take care of some of the other things I had planned to do tomorrow, so I can go out tomorrow and do my errands and get my haircut then instead. :)
I'm searching all over the house for a little gameboy game... crazy... I'd blame Ashley for not keeping it in a safe place, but I know I let Alyssa play and that's probably why it's lost... so it's up to me to find it.
So... where oh where has the gameboy game gone... oh where oh where can it be????
That's the name of the game today. I'm sure there will be something else that by the end of the day I'll search and search and search and still not be able to find too... :)

How we perceive things.
Last weekend at General Conference the General Relief Society President- Sister Beck gave a talk. It has become widely debated on whether it was good, or horrible. She focused a lot on motherhood and how LDS women should be the best homemakers. I won't debate the different points she made, but it has given me an opportunity again to see how one message can be "read" differently by different people. I listened to the talk and thought it was fine, there were a few lines that stood out to me, but I didn't realize it would become such a topic of conversation. It has been interesting for me to listen to and read different peoples reactions to her talk.
I went to Institute this morning. After the past two weeks I was really ready to stop going if I could not get Alyssa and Angela to cooperate and play with the other kids over in the nursery while our class was going on. I'm pleased to report that they did great and played with the other kids. I didn't even need to turn on the little DVD player I brought along "just in case" that I had brought last week and hadn't really been much help either. It was very nice to be able to sit and participate in the class with minimal interruptions (the previous two weeks, multiple times I had both of them fighting to sit in my lap and just not cooperating and trying to be quiet at all).
